From 2014-2019, I played guitar and sang lead vocals in a band called Turnspit. I was also in charge of our ever-evolving visual identity. Our music was warm, emotional, organic, and aggressive, while challenging gender norms and societal conventions. The art direction was chosen to reinforce those aspects of our sound. Over the years, we shared the stage with artists like Alkaline Trio and Rise Against, as well as performing as part of the 2017 Riot Fest lineup.
